We have premiere access to the CAMBA cluster mountain biking trails, Big Top Chautauqua, and Mt. Ashwabay's downhill and cross-country ski trails. Not to mention all that Bayfield, "The Best Little Town in the Midwest," has to offer. MOUNTAIN BIKING
Jump on your bike and leave right from our Inn, as The Timber Baron Inn has premiere access to the CAMBA (Chequamegon Area Moutain Biking Association) Ashwabay Cluster of single track mountain biking trails. KAYAKING SAILING or CRUISE
If an adventure by water is more your style we encourage you to explore the lake we call Gitchee Gumee. Throw your towel on a nearby beach, paddle to the sea caves (located off Meyers Beach), or venture out to one of the Apostle Islands either by kayak or by boat. Kayak rentals available here. BIG TOP CHAUTAUQUA
Nighttime entertainment must not be overlooked. Big Top Chautauqua is one of Bayfield's best summer and fall attractions. The big blue tent has attracted artists like Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and B.B. King, along with local and regional artists. BERRY AND APPLE PICKING
One of the best ways to fully enjoy Bayfield is to visit one of the many area orchards. DOWNHILL AND CROSS COUNTRY SKIING
